Event Description: The Eastern Sierra Book Festival will be held Sunday, July 18, at the Mammoth Museum at the Hayden Cabin. This FREE event will feature speakers all day, free books and books for sale, giveaways, games, music, book signings, and an Authors Variety Show. Coffee in the morning, and a bar in the afternoon. Speakers include Christopher Platt, Clifford Davis, David Carle, Jennifer Crittenden, Robert Joki, Jeff Gabriel, Sandy Powell, Joe Reidhead, Debbie Boucher, Lucas Dutton, R.D. Kardon, and Terry Pierce. Come join us!
Authors welcome! We’ll introduce you to the audience, sell your books, promote you on social media, and encourage you to be part of the Authors Variety Shows where you can sing, dance, tell a joke, or do whatever your book inspires you to do. Participation is free.
Book sales will benefit the Southern Mono Historical Society. The book festival’s coffee sponsor is The Mammoth Roasting Company. The book festival is sponsored by Whistling Rabbit Press and hosted by the Southern Mono Historical Society.
